Salah satu perhelatan penghargaan untuk game dan yang lainnya, The Game Awards, kembali diadakan tahun ini. Perhelatan yang diadakan setiap tahun ini akan jadi edisi yang ke-6, sejak pertama kali diadakan pada tahun 2014.
The Game Awards 2020 kali ini akan menghadirkan 30 kategori dan setiap nominasi yang dipilih oleh 95 juri yang terdiri dari influenser dan media di seluruh dunia.
Pengumuman pemenang dari The Game Awards nantinya akan diadakan pada hari Jumat, 11 Desember 2020 mendatang. Berikut adalah 30 kategori dan nominasinya.
